If you are not based in Southampton, Eastleigh, Totton or Hedge End or would like to use an alternative instructor (at your own cost), here is a list of other fully qualified National Standards Instructors based locally:

CycleWise - Dilys Gartside, telephone: 01258 860 157 or 07751 044365, email Cyclewisesouthampton@gmail.com. "Having cycle commuted to work for years as a solicitor, in 2005 I qualified as a freelance cycling instructor and set up Cyclewise to teach both children and adults, abled and disabled, the joy and skills for safer cycling as a mode of transport. When not doing that, I'm leading Sky Rides and Breeze women's rides for British Cycling or campaigning for safer cycling.  I work from North Dorset to Southampton."

123CycleRight - Vincent Licence, telephone: 07845 306940 or email info@123cycleright.co.uk. "I provide cycle skills tuition to all age groups, from absolute beginners to more experienced cyclists, in groups or 1-1 tuition. As an experienced HGV and car driver as well as a cyclist, I can provide tips  on accessing risks at challenging junctions and to improve communicating with other road users. In addition, I specialise in providing cycle skills to children & adults with special needs such as ADHD, Asperger Syndrome, Autism, Dyspraxia, Learning Difficulties and more."

Sound Cycling – Eleanor van der Hoest, telephone: 07952 314768 or email eleanor@soundcycling.co.uk. “I learnt to ride as an adult myself so I understand what it’s like to make that leap of faith! The thrill and freedom of going places under my own steam is still with me.  Many years of cycling later, I was inspired to train as a cycling instructor to help others start or restart riding.  There are so many good reasons to cycle and my friendly, supportive, one-to-one tuition can give you the skills and confidence to get riding - and be a positive presence on our roads.”

On Your Bike Cycle Training - Adrian Woolley, telephone: 07900 016716, email bikeabilityinstructor@gmail.com or visit facebook. "My mission is to get more people cycling for everyday journeys by coaching safer cycling. I'm currently a Child Workforce School Sports Coach and have been since September 2013. I have skills, expertise and interests in sports and outdoor activities and I have proven experience of building rapport and engaging with trainees. I pride myself in motivating others to reach their full potential."

Happy Cycling!
