Southampton Sporterium
My Journey is excited to sponsor the Southampton Sporterium for another year.
The hugely anticipated event for cyclists returns to Southampton on 1st April 2023, with My Journey sponsoring the event again this year. The Southampton Sporterium offers riders two Sportives plus a free family ride area as part of 'Spin City'.
It is set to be a fun filled day event in the city, thanks to the event organisers ReesLeisure, who also run the popular ABP Southampton Marathon, Winchester Half Marathon, Southampton Sailing Week, TryTri Events and Wessex Swim School.
Sportives:
The Sporterium offers two Sportives on the day with distances of 60km and 100km. Those routes allow riders to cycle around Hampshire, taking in the countryside as they complete their chosen route at their own pace.
Register for either the 60KM or 100KM Sportive here

The 100km offers the most scenic route which starts at Southampton City Centre, where riders will then travel through the countryside and head towards the North of Winchester, through New Alresford and then across to Stockbridge. Riders then head back to Southampton City Centre, by travelling through Romsey. |

Spin City
While cyclists are out on the routes, family and friends of riders and the general public can enjoy bike related activities in ‘Spin City’ in Southampton Guildhall Square from 9.30am to 5pm. Part of Above Bar and Commercial Road will be closed to enable you and your family to try out bikes in a traffic free environment.

There will also be adapted cycles to try out from PEDALL, New Forest Inclusive Cycling. Throughout the day there will be other activities such as a Bike Doctor from Monty's Bike Hub and stalls in Watts Park. Sustrans will be running a Bike Agility course between 10am-2pm.
