Regents Park Road Junction Improvements

Balfour Beatty have planned overnight works to resurface the Millbrook Road West junction with Regents Park Road from Tuesday 11 September for four nights. These works include a reconstruction of the Third Avenue junction with Manor House Avenue, which needs to be undertaken in three phases commencing on Wednesday 12 September.

Work will take place between 8pm and 6am across the four nights. The below map shows which sections of the road will be closed on each night.

The closures will restrict north/south movement at the Millbrook Road West junction and, in order to complete a large patch that spans the middle lane, Millbrook Road West will be closed inbound (east-bound) from Millbrook Roundabout on Thursday night from 10pm. Traffic will be diverted via Teboura Way and Shirley Road during this overnight closure.

Due to the nature of the work on Third Avenue at the junction with Manor House Avenue, access here will be tightly controlled. If you use this route, you will need a gateman to give you access and guide you around the works area. Please be aware there may be short delays in allowing this access.

On Friday 14 September works will be taking place in two locations on Third Avenue. However, these will be carried out separately on the night. The junction with Millbrook Road West will be surfaced earlier in the evening and then opened again before work commences on the junction with Manor House Avenue. Again, access from Manor House Avenue will be possible but tightly controlled.
