Romsey Road Bridge works

In September last year, Highways England carried out a demolition weekend to commence the replacement of the Romsey Road Bridge. The next stage of works - which will see the installation of the new bridge - is due to take place in June. To allow for the works, the M27 will be closed in both directions between junctions 3-4 from 10pm on Friday 28 June until 5am on Sunday 30 June.

You can find out more about the work here.

We are encouraging everyone to consider alternatives to driving at this time and below are a range of options that will help you to get around with minimum inconvenience over the course of the weekend. Simply click on your preferred travel choice to find out more.

Don’t forget, for each of the below options, you can also use our handy Journey Planner to help you plan your route ahead.
