More and more people are walking and cycling in and around Southampton at the moment. This is great news for our neighbourhoods, air quality and people's health. You can read more about the health benefits of walking and cycling here

Now, as the region starts to get moving again, we want to make sure that you can keep moving too. Our goal is to encourage and enable people to keep walking and cycling so the new healthy habits we're seeing today can become a positive, familiar part of the new norm tomorrow. Whether it's to access work, education or leisure, we want to help people keep active by making more of these everyday journeys on foot or by bike, while continuing to follow social distancing guidelines.
