This week, we are taking part in TravelWise Week, a week-long campaign promoting active and sustainable travel across Hampshire.  

We are going to tell you about the various travel options you can take when working, studying, and playing in Hampshire.  If you can swap your car for a different mode of transport one or more days this week, that would be great, and it would be brilliant if you could also tweet a picture.  So, join in, leave your car at home, and discover alternative ways to travel.  #BeHantsTravelWise

Soon to launch Breeze app 

This new travel super app is being developed for the Solent region. It covers Portsmouth to Southampton, Winchester to the Isle of Wight and everything in between.  It’s a revolutionary new way to plan, book and pay for journeys across all transport types including buses, trains, cycling, walking routes, driving, car clubs, e-scooters and much more.  

Breeze will make it possible to travel around the Solent region using just one app – no need for multiple travel apps.  It will help you to find the quickest, cheapest, or greenest route for your trip and discover news ways to travel. 

The app is being developed by Solent-Transport, and is due to launch later this year.  It will be available to download from the Apple and Google Play stores.
