Horndean Green Trail and Heritage Network
Horndean Green Trail and Heritage Network is a project led by Horndean Parish Council in collaboration with East Hampshire District Council, Hampshire County Council and Urban Place Lab that invites you to explore the area in new ways.
At its heart is a network of paths and trails that lead to local places rich in nature and history. It’s designed to make Horndean’s heritage and open spaces easier to enjoy, whether you’re seeking meeting daily travel needs, leisure, learning, fitness, or simply a deeper connection with the environment.
By encouraging active travel, the network promotes wellbeing and sustainability, offering a meaningful journey through Horndean’s landscapes and stories.

Discover Horndean Green Trail and Heritage Network
One of the key features of this project is a mapped network of trails and paths in Horndean and the surrounding area. These routes can be used to plan journeys and explore connections between different parts of the village, as well as for leisure, learning, and exercise. The network map highlights infrastructure and points of historic and local interest and includes two suggested trails in Catherington and Blendworth.
