How to get there

By Public Transport

• From Portsmouth and Clanfield: Take First Portsmouth service no. 8 (every 20 minutes).
• From Petersfield and Havant: Use Stagecoach service 37 (every 60 minutes).

Both services stop at Horndean Village Centre (The Precinct), just steps from the Blendworth Trail and about a 12-minute walk to the Catherington Trail.

By Rail

The nearest station is Rowlands Castle (approx. 2.2 miles away), but Petersfield Station offers better connections with regular Stagecoach 37 buses to Horndean.

By Cycle

Planning to cycle? Use the CycleStreets route planner to find the best route. There are also recreational routes nearby, including Hampshire trails and Komoot recommendations. While the network is designed for walking, the Blendworth Trail is the most cycle-friendly section, making use of quieter roads

Limited free car parking is available throughout Horndean Village and marked on the trail map.
