Travel Planning Competition Terms

Hampshire County Council collects information about you in order to deliver travel planning competitions in Hampshire schools. We will use the information to enter you and your child into the relevant competition and for contacting the winner(s).  The legal basis for our use of this information is you have given your consent.

We may share your personal information with the prize draw provider if they need to make arrangements with you in the event that you are a winner. We will keep your personal information until all winner(s) have been notified and accepted their prize(s), this will be no longer than three months.

For promotional purposes, if your child wins our annual drawing competition, we will use the drawing to publicise the winners in our newsletter and on our social media channels. We will also use it in the ‘How could you travel to school?’ booklet the following year to promote the competition. In other competitions, we will name the winner(s) in newsletters and on our social media channels. We will only use your child’s first name, their year group and the name of their school.
