Welcome to North Whiteley
The North Whiteley Development has a Travel Plan. This is a long term strategy to promote safe, sustainable, and healthy travel choices – encouraging walking, cycling, use of public transport, and car sharing while reducing reliance on single-occupancy car use. The Travel Plan was developed in line with national planning policy, which requires such plans for developments that generate significant travel. It is funded with contributions from the North Whiteley Consortium of developers, who have commissioned Hampshire County Council to deliver it on their behalf.
These webpages are part of the Travel Plan, and are here to provide you, as a resident or business of North Whiteley, with up to date travel information for the local area, the latest on activities and events promoting sustainable travel and to provide regular progress updates on the Travel Plan.
